Frequently Asked Questions

Orders & Delivery

Most orders ship within 1-2 business days. Special orders or requests will take longer. We will email you a tracking number when it is sent so you know it is on its way.

Depending on where you live you should receive most orders within 5-7 business days...sometimes earlier.

We ship via USPS Priority Mail which usually has a delivery time of 2-3 business days and provides a little insurance.

We know it is a little more expensive than First Class Main, however we do not find First Class reliable.

A lot of work and heart goes into each piece and feel it is worth a few extra dollars to not have it get lost.

Unfortunately, at the moment we do not. Covid has made it really difficult, resulting in shipments being delayed weeks or lost altogether.

Although we LOVE our all of our clients, we do not have a retail location to pick up from.

help, please

Although we know you will love your unique handcrafted Island Cowgirl Jewelry, we will be happy to accept returns or exchanges within 21 days of shipment.

All returns must be in original condition, not worn and include the original packaging. (Special, custom orders and sale items are not returnable.)

To return or exchange an item please download our return form HERE and follow the instructions on the form.

We understand that you LOVE your Island Cowgirl Jewelry...and never take it off!

If it is in need of repair we would be happy to help you with that.

Please note that we do not accept repairs from October through December due to the holidays for items that are more than one year old. I am a one woman show and have had to limit extra requests during the holidays.

Repair services for damaged & worn jewelry will vary. The best way to get started is to contact us with a photo and a brief description of what you need help with. (We don't always have all the parts to repair something very old, but we will try our very best). Please DO NOT send repairs without contacting us first.

We try to do our best to make ya'll happy! We know that not everyone is the same size.

A lot of times we can customize or size our jewelry so that it better fits you. The best way to find out if this is possible on a particular piece is to contact us and we will try to help you out.

We recommend cleaning our silver jewelry with a soft silver polishing cloth. Please do not use commercial Silver Dip as it will remove all of the words/details of the piece. It is also toxic and can create pitting on your silver which cannot be repaired. Silver Dip is an acid and will eat through the silver and any finish that is on your Island Cowgirl Jewelry.

Also, keep in mind your jewelry does not like to go swimming as much as you do. Please do not wear the our leather pieces in the water. Water can make it age, weaken, discolor and mold. To keep it strong and beautiful it is best if it remains dry.

Unfortunately, I am unable to take custom orders at the moment.

They are super fun to do, but require a huge mental and time commitment that is not in the cards right now.

If you happen to see something from a previous collection that you love, you can always contact me and sometimes I can make you something similar.

The good news is that I am always posting new work and the best way to snag those is to join our email list and become a VIP Inner Circle member. We would love to have you!

My horses are both Gypsy Vanners. Sundance was originally brought over from Wales with his mum when he was only 5 months old.

He is very handsome and he knows it...his one blue eye is a big hit with the ladies and he knows how to work it to get extra carrots.

Liberty Belle has become quite famous for her outrageous hair-dos. (You can see them regularly on my Instagram account).

Her other hobbies include stealing food from her brother, bullying him and just eating in general. She usually gets away with all of the above because she is really cute and photogenic.

The Gypsy Vanner is a small draft horse that was originally bred to pull carts for the Romany Gypsies in Wales...so they are very broad and strong.

Or as I like to say..."ten pounds of sugar in a five pound bag".

I believe Sundance is part Golden Retriever as he follows me around like a puppy dog. Or a stalker depending on how you see it.

He is very gentle, sweet & kind but will he will mug you for a carrot...so consider yourself warned.

No, although many children think he is. He is a real dog actually. An Old English Sheepdog...and his name is Nigel...also known as Nigel-licious. He is part of the Island Cowgirl team.

He is very proficient at tearing up boxes, stealing shoes and drawing customers into the store. Also, if your order was packed wrong...we always blame it on him.

Leipers Fork is a little village south of Nashville of about 400 residents.

The hills are rolling, the people couldn't be kinder and the moonshine is pretty darn good.

It is pretty much like a cross between Mayberry & heaven. There is no shortage of music on the front porch and horses. What more could a girl want?
